Student Athlete to Sales Professional
From a young age, athletics has been my safe space and my first true love. If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would tell you that I was going to be a professional hockey player. Eventually, I understood how gifted professional athletes are and that my ceiling was college lacrosse, which is true. However, athletics formulated my character and created who I am today, a gritty, coachable, hardworking sales professional.
From my perspective, being a business professional and a lifelong athlete go hand in hand. In a sales role, you often face adversity with clients such as rejection, or economic volatility. With the experience I have in athletics, I can handle challenges in a fast-paced work environment. I can comprehend feedback, ask questions, learn from my mistakes, move on, and better my future self.
Work-life Balance
I embody a work hard, play hard lifestyle. In my free time, I try to maximize my experiences in life. I enjoy bluebird days on the mountain with my friends, downtime on the boat with my loved ones, and most importantly hanging out with my four-legged friends. I believe in the work-life balance because we only have one life and it would be a shame to waste the opportunity to live it to the fullest.
